In the summer of 2008 the Food Network crew came for the first time to the dog house and filmed a special called "Sunny's Summer Eats"
Which aired on the exact day of our 10 yr anniversay ~ July 10, 2009.
It was a great time and got us alot of publicity .

In the summer of 2010 we filmed a commercial which was so much fun. The crew did a great job !

On July 27, 2010 the Food Network show "Diners Drive-In's and Dives" filmed.
The first airing was on December 18th, 2010 and was followed by 6 more airings and more to come.
The crew from Page Productions told us " Because we were a small family business with a great product, Our lives would never be the same once the show aired".
They were right! Our website hits are crazy and the e-mails are just awesome.
We cannot wait to open for the summer of 2011.

| The Postman ALWAYS RINGS TWICE and always wants Chicken Fingers - Do I know his name? Of course not I SUCK at names - I know he is a neighbor, always comes with a great smile, has a great shy wife and is actually a postal Inspector. He has been coming for years and I don't know his name - that is really bad. But I promise to put him on my wall next year so I remember. Great Customers and a really great picture of a really happy couple ! They e-mailed me with their names it's Danny and Mary !! Nice to meet you !! Now that I I know your name you will expect me to greet you with hey Dan but you will always be the Postal guy from 9 th street to me. It's good to know your name but I think it is more fun to know you by what you eat and where you work -- hey it's worked for 9 yrs why start being formal now ? |

| Tara and Mike - The ultimate pary people and Mike should be sainted for putting up with her ! They are cousins. Tara worked for us in our Boardwalk store and we have stayed friends - she is a great girl and a NYC Model and so Beautiful ! Piro's - New york Ave @ 19 th - The BEST Crab and spinach chowder around - Take out is our way to go !
Alfe's - The salad is to DIE for - Just order the Alfe's salad and enjoy -- it's great. The pasta is great also and they have good meatballs.
Gia's - Pacific Ave - The BEST high end food we found on the island. A really great meal and you can bring your own wine Yea !

Hot Spot - There are alot of Hot Spots on the Boardwalk but the one I know serves the best Greek Salad is the one located across from the chocolate shop at Oak Avenue. If walking from North wildwood it is the first one on the left - if walking from Wildwood it is directy across from the aquarium . Make sure to tell your waitress That the " Maui's" Sent you !
Wildwood Bagels - 26 th & Delaware Ave - Great Bagels ! Be prepared to wait in line but they are GOOD !

Lamination Preservation - Scott and Michele take your favorite Posters, Family Photos and Media Articles ( as in our case ) and laminate them on wood and preserve them so they will never yellow. They did all our articles, which are posted in our windows and they laminated our favorite pic's of our kids to use as Christmas Ornaments. They are truly unique gifts. If you child was in the paper - don't frame it - laminate it. Just go to lamin8.com and tell them the Maui's sent U. They ship EVERYWHERE !
Sofia Restaurant - This is hands down one of the best meals I have had in New Jersey and worth the trip up to Margate. It is a beautiful place and only a few years old. Bed and Breakfast - For a cozy vacation in an awesome victorian home with the best innkeepers around please visit the Candlelight Inn in North Wildwood ~ Bill and Nancy are the most graciuos hosts in town ~ stay in the carriage house ~ the tub is awesome and Nancy cooks some mean breakfast.
